FAMILY SUPPORT

Need a Bed for Your Child?

Here's how our referral process works and what to expect.

How to Get a Bed

We provide beds and Dream Kits to children through referrals from partner organizations.  Partner organizations submit referrals directly to My Very Own Bed on behalf of families they serve.

As a small organization, we prioritize delivering beds to families referred by our partners.

Step 1

Connect with a Partner Organization

Start with a school, social worker, healthcare provider, shelter, or community organization you're already connected with.

Step 2

Partner Organization Submits a Referral

Your partner organization can submit a referral directly to My Very Own Bed on your behalf.

Step 3

Next Steps

Our team reviews referrals and coordinates directly with eligible families regarding bed delivery.

Important to Know

Families are referred to us by our referral partner organizations. Our partners submit referrals for new beds on behalf of families directly to My Very Own Bed.

As a small organization, we prioritize providing beds to families referred to us by our partners. Please note that this list includes the public school districts of Anoka-Hennepin district #11, St. Paul Public Schools district #625, and Hopkins district #270.

If you’re connected to one of these organizations, please ask your point of contact about requesting a bed. If you aren’t connected to any of these organizations, we will not be able to provide beds for your family at this time.
